Converting your wheels to tubeless is now easy, lightweight and reliable!

The FattyStripper and SkinnyStripper tubeless conversion solutions require our lightweight latex RimStrips and a removable valve stem.  Some wheels will additionally require reinforcing strips and/or foam backer rods.  

For wheels with cutout rims, the FattyStripper RimStrip is used with a reinforcing strip over the cutouts on the wheels. This reinforcing strip can be the vinyl strip that comes with your wheels or our lightweight 3M BlingStrips. 

For wheels with loose tolerances, foam backer rods are needed to improve bead seating.

    By popular demand... a "value pak" so that you have a spare set on hand. 4 FattyStripper RimStrips for 26" rims up to 105mm wide, 27" rims up to 90mm wide and 29" rims up to 75mm wide. Weight depends upon the width needed. Each unmounted, untrimmed rimstrip weighs ~49g. After mounting and trimming on a 90mm wide rim, the rimstrip weighed ~38g.

    75mm wide version of the FattyStripper bands for use on 24, 26, 27.5 & 29/700c rims up to 50mm wide. SkinnyStripper bands provide a more reliable tubeless solution for gravel, XC, Enduro and DH wheels when lower pressures are desired for traction but the off-camber and technical nature of the trail tends to encourage "micro burps". The latex will bond with the tire's bead after a week or two to create a "tubular-like" solution. This burp insurance keeps the air in your tire and makes trail re-inflation (after plugging a puncture) easy with a hand pump. 10-15g after trimming.

    Our Tubeless Valves are strong, black anodized alloy with presta valves weighing just 7.5g/pair. Our valves come in pairs with lock nuts including tension o-rings, caps, nylon spacers (for single wall rims) AND a nice little pack-able valve core remover! We are temporarily out of Schrader valves.

    Two pairs (four lengths) of foam rod used underneath FattyStripper RimStrips only on rims with loose tolerances for seating the tire bead. DT Swiss / Specialized rims do not need backing rod. Borealis Turnagain, Scott Syncros, Alex, Surly Rolling Darryl and Surly Large Marge rims are more reliable and easier to seat with this extremely lightweight backing rod. 4 lengths of backer rods weigh 14g total.

    Tire Repair Plug Kit$6.00
    Bicycle Tire Plug Kit consisting of an aluminum plug insertion tool w/sealed case, 5 micro "bacon strips" and a core remover. The bacon strips can be inserted whole or cut in half. The insertion tool pushes a bacon strip, bent in half, into the puncture hole until 1/4" of the ends is sticking out of the puncture before removing the tool. Sealant works more effectively with the plug to seal the puncture. Taping the tool to a 2 oz sealant bottle is a good way to carry the kit while riding.

    We have some smaller latex bands that work perfectly on kids' 16" & 20" wheels, including 20" FatBike rims. Since kids' benefit the most from a tubeless setup (weight & rolling resistance is way more significant to the little ones), we are happy to sell these inexpensively to put a bigger smile on those little faces! These rimstrips are too small to work on 24" and 26" wheels.
